The Promise
A Promise That Candidates Make to Their Constituents
I promise to WORK FOR US. I will refuse corporate money. I will pass the Comprehensive Labor and Worker Safeguards Act, CLAWS. I will protect US workers. I will close the foreign money pipeline. I will WORK FOR US, not the party. I will maintain transparency and accountability. I will commit to term limits. I understand that US workers have been betrayed by both parties for fifty-four years. I understand that the system is designed to corrupt anyone the moment they arrive in Washington, D.C. I understand that the only way to restore the republic is to change the system itself.
I am not running to join that system. I am running to change it. I am not a revolutionary seeking to tear down the government, the Constitution, or the American way of life. I am a constitutionalist who believes those institutions must be defended — and that the strongest defense is to make them work for the people they were created to serve. The Constitution was not written for corporations. It was not written for foreign interests. It was written for us — the people, the workers, the citizens of this republic — and I will fight to restore it to its purpose.
This is my promise, article by article:
Article I: No Corporate Money
I will refuse contributions from corporate political action committees, corporate lobbyists, and trade associations funded by corporate interests. I will not allow corporate money to influence my votes, my policy positions, or my access. The influence of corporate money in American politics has turned representation into a commodity — bought and sold to the highest bidder, while the workers who actually sustain this country are shut out of the room. I will not be bought. I will not be rented. I will not be influenced by any entity whose loyalty is to shareholders rather than citizens. My loyalty is to the people of the United States, and I will prove it by keeping corporate money out of my office.
Article II: Pass the Comprehensive Labor and Worker Safeguards Act, CLAWS
I commit to co-sponsoring and voting for CLAWS within the first 100 days of my term. I will advocate for its passage and oppose any procedural maneuver designed to delay or defeat it. I understand that this single most important vote I will cast in the 120th Congress — more important than any appropriations bill, any regulatory reform, any partisan priority that leadership may press upon me. CLAWS protects workers from employer retaliation when we use our Section 7 rights to demand better wages and working conditions. It gives us a seat at the table in every corner of the nation. With it, we will make our own wages. Without it, workers will continue to be retaliated against with no recourse. I will pass this bill into law, or I will not deserve to hold this office.
Article III: End the Corporate War on American Wages
I will vote for other bills that give workers meaningful protection, and to dismantle the wage-suppression machine that corporations built and Washington has shielded for half a century: jobs offshored to the lowest bidder, visa programs abused to import workers who can be paid less because a sponsor’s leash means they cannot quit or bargain, and AI deployed to make us disposable. I will aim my votes at the men in the corner offices who pocket the savings and the lobbyists who bought the laws that let them. I will protect the right of every American to earn a living wage at home, to organize without fear, and to compete on a field their own government has tilted against them.
Article IV: Close the Foreign Money Pipeline
I will vote to bar foreign governments, foreign corporations, and foreign-controlled entities from spending in American elections through any channel — including the trade associations and chambers of commerce that collect dues from foreign members and launder that money into our campaigns. This is about foreign capital buying American policy. I will support mandatory auditing and full, real-time disclosure for every organization that spends to influence our elections, so the public can see exactly whose money is talking. American elections belong to American citizens. Foreign money has no vote here, and I will give it none.
Article V: WORK FOR US, Not the Party
I will not vote based on party leadership instructions when those instructions conflict with the interests of US workers. I will oppose partisan games that sacrifice worker interests for political advantage. I answer to the people who elected me — not to party bosses, not to corporate donors, not to the committees and caucuses that treat votes as loyalty tests and representatives as rubber stamps. The two-party system has functioned as a protection racket for corporate interests for over half a century, with both parties trading power back and forth while the workers who elect them are left behind. I will not participate in that racket. I will WORK FOR US. When party leadership demands a vote that harms American workers, I will vote against it — and I will explain why, to my constituents, in plain language, without spin. That is what representation means.
Article VI: Transparency and Accountability
I will hold at least four town halls per year, open to all constituents. I will disclose all contributions within 48 hours of receipt and explain every vote I cast on matters affecting US workers. I will be accessible, accountable, and answerable to the people I represent. The citizens of this district have a right to know who is paying me, what I am voting for, and why. They have a right to confront me directly, to question me publicly, and to receive honest answers — not scripted talking points, not form letters, not the evasions that have become standard practice in Washington. I will not hide from my constituents. I will not avoid the people who sent me to represent them. I will show up, I will answer, and I will be held to account.
Article VII: Term Limits Commitment
I promise not to seek re-election if I have not passed the Comprehensive Labor and Worker Safeguards Act and delivered on my commitments within three terms in the House or two terms in the Senate. I am not running for a career. I am running to accomplish a mission. The mission is to change a system that has betrayed American workers for over half a century. If I cannot accomplish that mission within the time the people grant me, then I do not deserve more time — I deserve to be replaced by someone who can. Congress was never meant to be a lifetime appointment. It was meant to be a temporary trust, fulfilled and returned. I will honor that trust, or I will step aside.

I make this promise freely and without reservation. I understand that US workers have been betrayed by both parties for fifty-four years. I understand that the system is designed to corrupt anyone the moment they arrive in Washington. I understand that the only way to restore the republic is to change the system itself.
I stand to change the system. I stand in support of passing the Comprehensive Labor and Worker Safeguards Act. I stand to restore the sovereignty of the American people. I stand to protect our jobs, our communities, our Constitution, and our way of life from anyone — foreign or domestic — who would undermine them.
I am not a revolutionary. I am not here to destroy. I am here to restore — to restore the republic, the Constitution, and the sovereignty of the American worker. The system will not reform itself. The parties will not voluntarily surrender the corporate money that sustains their power. The only force that can change this system is the organized will of the American people, demanding representatives who prove their loyalty before they ever take office. That is what this promise is. That is what I am signing.
This is a personal commitment. No dues. No cards. No bureaucracy. By making this promise, I stand with a nationwide network of US workers who demand representation that works for us — not corporate donors or party bosses. My promise is my bond. The people will hold me to it.
I make this promise to my constituents — not to any party, caucus, or alliance, including the very network of workers that helped me reach this office. No organization may whip my vote, discipline me, or punish me for keeping faith with the people I represent. Only the voters of my district may hold me to this promise. Only they may remove me for breaking it. A representative who answers to an organization has merely traded one master for another. I answer to the district, and to no one else.
