Get Inside: The Speakeasy
Your district’s private chat sits behind a passphrase — the gate asks “Who sent you?” Get the phrase from a fellow member (at a meetup, or ask in your district group’s activity feed). Once inside, you’re in the room where the district actually talks: the Wire’s channels, direct messages, and one-click video calls for face-to-face planning across the whole district.
Take a Job, Not Just a Membership
District roles — apply in one click
Your district page lists open roles: Canvasser, Phonebanker, Event Host, Organizer and more. Each is a real job with a real description. Applying takes one click; a district Organizer reviews it. A district where everyone holds a small job beats a district where three people hold every job.
Organizers — the Field Generals
Organizers coordinate the team: they manage the Speakeasy passphrase, review role applications, and keep the operation moving. The Academy’s Field Manual course (FM67) is their playbook — and it’s open to you too.
Build Things: Projects & Events
Projects — start from a template
Voter registration drive, neighborhood canvass, candidate forum — the project gallery gives you a working template so you never start from a blank page. Every new project auto-posts to the Wire so the team sees it instantly.
Events — from RSVP to hosting
Anyone can RSVP; District Members can submit events. A kitchen-table strategy session for four counts. A park cleanup with a sign-up sheet counts. Post it, and it announces itself to the team.
The Main Event: Nominate, Vet, Vote
Everything above serves one goal: by July 7, 2027, your district picks its candidate. Members nominate candidates on the district page. The team vets them — the Seven Questions, in public, no backroom deals. Candidates who sign The WORK FOR US! Promise go to the district’s vote. The winner carries the district’s endorsement into the party primaries — powered by 8,000 organized neighbors no donor can outspend.
Watch It Work: The Map
The Activity Map shows every district’s status in real time — members, activity, candidates, momentum. Your district’s numbers rise with every recruit, event, and project. Friendly rivalry with the district next door is encouraged. That’s the point.
